Description Original glass plate negative. A man and woman pose next to a tree; they are dressed for a hunt. The man stands with his hands in his pocket; the woman sits on a tree stump and holds a riding crop. Two outbuildings and several other people are in the background. The original negative sleeve has the photographer's handwritten inscription: "Stanley 35 / 500 / Norman Nichols & Miss H[rest of the word is cut off] / Hunt breakfast / Fine day / W.L. / 2 P.M / 25 ft Inst / Election Day Tues Nov [8] / 1892."

Ownership and History "Norman Nichols" is probably Erickson Norman Nichols, Master of Hounds for the Richmond County Hunt Club, and "Miss H" is probably Edith Haines. They married in 1896.
