Acquisition Museum Purchase
Ownership and History The Sea View Hospital complex, located in Willowbrook, Staten Island, was built in the early 1900s as New York City's center for the study and treatment of tuberculosis. The first successful drug trials for the modern cure were conducted at Sea View in the 1950s.
