Description Original glass plate negative. Three boys and two girls (one girl is mostly hidden behind the other) are on a rocky shoreline; they turn to face the camera. The boys all wear short pants and caps; the boy at right holds a string that has a loop at one end and a rock tied to the other end. Two sailing ships and a steamboat are in New York Harbor in the background.
