Description Original B&W film negative. Front view of a butcher shop with signs: "STATEN ISLAND PACKING CO. / WHOLESALE ONLY" and "PRIME / BEEF / LAMB VEAL / PORK / POULTRY." Elevated railroad tracks are at right; part of Weitzman's Photo Shop is seen at left. The roadway, paved with rectangular blocks, is in the foreground. The location is Canal Street in Stapleton, Staten Island. The original negative sleeve has the photographer's handwritten inscription: "Royal 3/20/51 / 1 Ea."
