Ownership and History This image shows a ferryboat that was used for the ferry service that once ran between St. George, Staten Island and 69th Street, Brooklyn. By the time this photograph was taken in 1965, that service had already ended, having been discontinued just days after the opening of the Verazzano-Narrows Bridge in November 1964.
