Description B&W copy print. Diagonal front and side view of a two-story house with a porch. The building is identified as the home of the Hooper family in Richmond, Staten Island. A picket fence is in front of the house. Five children and a woman holding a baby stand in front of the fence. From left to right, the children are identified as Lilian, Walter, Sophie, Mabel, and Maud; the woman is Mary Hooper, holding baby Lucy in her arms. Mabel stands with a doll carriage with a doll inside.

Ownership and History Mary (Packet) Hooper (1855-1940) appears in this photograph with six of her children, including Lucy who was born in 1890. According to descendents, Mary and William Hooper had ten children in all, including one who had died before this photograph was taken and two who had not yet been born.
