Description Original B&W print on off-white cardboard mount. Side view of a horse-drawn wagon with three men standing alongside. The man at left leans on one of the rear wheels; the man at right stands near the horse's head; the man at center stands near the front of wagon, partially obscuring the inscription on the side of the wagon: "BRIS[K'S] / S.I.& N.Y. E[XP]R[ESS] / OFFICE 7[6] CO[...]". The wagon stands in front of a two-story building with painted inscription: "BRISK'S EXPRESS. NEW YORK OFFICES / 76 CORTLANDT ST / 90 WILLIAM / 55[?] WHITEHALL / ORDERS / RECEIVED IN THE STORE / ONE DOOR ABOVE." Inside the open door of the building a sign is visible: "EXPRESS / ORDERS RECEIVED HERE." Handwritten inscription on reverse: "Brisk's Express / Broad St, Stapleton / Father of Harry Brisk / Michael Brisk / Driver: Larkin / (Hylan Blvd) / Still living (9/59) / 3 N.Y. offices-- / (on truck[?] / ..."
