Description Original B&W print on cream cardboard mount. View of the 69th Street Ferry Terminal and slip in St. George, Staten Island, seen from an elevated vantage point. A ferry boat is coming into the slip at right; the ferry has a sign with inscription: "THE NARROWS." Another ferry is partly visible in the slip at left, beyond the ferry terminal building. At center, a small building with an awning has two signs mounted on the roof: "Sealtest / ICE CREAM" and "SNACK BAR." In the middle ground, a line of cars are driving toward the slip at left. In the foreground, two trucks are waiting to board the ferry. Typed inscription on paper glued to the reverse of the mount: "TR-191 / 69th STREET FERRY / St. George, / Staten Island, Terminal / G. E. DIEFENBACH in slip / loading. THE NARROWS / coming in. / By Herbert L. Van Cott / Nov. 17, 1964."
