Description Original B&W postcard. View of an open field with buildings (mostly houses) in the distance. At right is a large building in the style of a castle. Printed caption below: "A25591 General View showing Smith's Infirmary, New Brighton, N.Y." Handwritten inscription next to and below caption: "9-30-06. / Yes I received everything -- / I can't get the Church yet. Jennie." Printed on reverse: "POST CARD / The Rotograph Co., N.Y., City. (Germany.)" Handwritten address: "Mrs. Wm. S. Brown, / 122 Palisade Ave., / Garfield, N.J." Reverse has an attached one-cent stamp, and two Tompkinsville postmarks dated October 1, 1906.
