Description Original B&W print on cream cardboard mount. Diagonal view of a ferry slip along a pier; a paved road or walkway with a metal railing extends from the foreground into the distance at right. In the middle distance is a tall structure at the entrance to a ferry slip; it has a sign with inscription: "STATEN ISLAND FERRY / SHORT ROUTE TO NEW JERSEY." At left a ferry boat is partially visible with inscription "BROOKLYN - STATEN ISLAND" on its side. The rear of two buildings are visible at left and right of the slip. Typed inscription on paper glued to the reverse of the mount: "TR - 179 / 69th STREET FERRY / Brooklyn Terminal / Looking north along / the Shore Road / By Herbert L. Van Cott / Nov. 25, 1964."
