Description Original glass plate negative. View of a lake, with a row of empty rowboats along the shore in the foreground. A bridge is seen in the distance. At right, a group of men, women, and children are sitting on benches at the shore of the lake. A swan boat is in the water at left. The original negative sleeve has the photographer's handwritten inscription: "Stanley / 35 / No. 602 / Lake & swan boats / Lincoln Park / Fine day / W.L. / 2.30 P.M / 60 ft / Inst quick / Friday July 14th 1893 / Chicago / Ills."
