Description Original B&W film negative. View of commercial buildings on Midland Avenue in Midland Beach, Staten Island. At left is a brick building with signs "MESSINA'S SONS / 551" and "MIDLAND / REAL / ESTATE." There are several people in the street and on the sidewalk; at left is a woman pushing a baby carriage. The original negative sleeve has the photographer's handwritten inscription: "Board of Transportation / Re Midland Ave 5/4/50 / 1 Ea."
