Description Original glass plate negative. View looking down a city street in Boston, Massachusetts, toward a church steeple surrounded by scaffolding. In the street is a pile of lumber and a horse-drawn carriage. The original negative sleeve has the photographer's handwritten inscription: "Stanley / 35 / 328 / Paul Rever's [sic] church Old South / where his lantern was hung / Fine day, sun / 1.30 P.M / W.L. / Inst / 60 ft / Tuesday June 28th 1892 / Boston Mass."
