Description Original B&W print on cream cardboard mount. View of the 69th Street Ferry Terminal and slip in St. George, Staten Island, seen from an elevated vantage point. A ferry boat is seen in the slip at right; the ferry has a sign with inscription: "GOTHAM." At center, a small building with an awning has two signs mounted on the roof: "Sealtest / ICE CREAM" and "SNACK BAR." In the middle ground, cars and trucks are disembarking and driving away from the ferry; one truck has inscription: "Rheingold." In the foreground, cars and trucks are waiting to board the ferry; a truck at lower right has inscription: "WACKERS EXPRESS / Serving / STATEN ISLAND & NEW YORK." Typed inscription on paper glued to the reverse of the mount: "TR-190 / 69th STREET FERRY / St. George, / Staten Island, Terminal / GOTHAM in slip / unloading / By Herbert L. Van Cott / Nov. 17, 1964."
