Description Original B&W print on tan cardboard mount. Exterior front view of the Guyon-Lake-Tysen house on its original site on Tysen's Lane in Oakwood, Staten Island. The house is set back on a large lawn with plants and shrubs, and a large tree; more trees are at right. A man, a woman, a child, and a dog stand and sit in front of the house; the man stands with his right arm leaning on the tree. Stamped inscription on reverse of mount: "ALEXANDER & TOLMAN, / 1780 TENTH AVE., N.Y. / Neg No. 960 Duplicates any / time within 6 months."

Ownership and History The house seen in this photograph was relocated to Historic Richmond Town in 1962. The people posed on the lawn are believed to be members of the Tysen family.
