Original B&W print on tan cardboard mount. Exterior front view of the Guyon-Lake-Tysen house on its original site on Tysen's Lane in Oakwood, Staten Island. The house is set back on a large lawn with plants and shrubs, and a large tree; more trees are at right. A man, a woman, a child, and a dog stand and sit in front of the house; the man stands with his right arm leaning on the tree. Stamped inscription on reverse of mount: "ALEXANDER & TOLMAN, / 1780 TENTH AVE., N.Y. / Neg No. 960 Duplicates any / time within 6 months."

The house seen in this photograph was relocated to Historic Richmond Town in 1962. The people posed on the lawn are believed to be members of the Tysen family.
