Description Original B&W film negative. Diagonal front view of a small grocery store. Inscription on the awning: "WEST NEW BRIGHTON MEAT MARKET." Cardboard boxes, crates of produce, a stack of watermelons, and a Coca-Cola dispenser are on the sidewalk in front of the store. The store was located at 230 Broadway in West New Brighton, Staten Island. The original negative sleeve has the photographer's handwritten inscription: "Onofrio & Berardi 8-13-48 / 2 - 6x8."
