Description B&W print, interior view of the Edwards-Barton House parlor. French doors with shades drawn are at the center of the image; door to hallway is on the left. Furnishings include sofa and chairs of carved wood and patterned upholstery, center table with globe lamp, whatnot shelf, and small stands with decorative items. Walls have hanging pictures decorated with branches of greenery (possibly holly). The floor is carpeted.

Ownership and History The Edwards-Barton House at 3742 Richmond Road is now part of Historic Richmond Town. The majolica basket-shaped vase that appears on the lower shelf of the stand at right in this photo is in the object collection (catalog number F07.1651).
