Description Original glass plate negative. View of a dock at the Clifton Boat Club in Clifton, Staten Island. Three men and a boy watch a rowing crew in a scull pass by. In the background is the steam tug "Almira" and a large sailing ship. Inscription "E.A.A" in lower left corner. The original negative sleeve has the photographer's handwritten inscription: "A.R / 40 / No. 30 / Clifton Boat Club race / gig crew A&H Wright, F Bourne / Fine day / 4.45 P.M / Sat July 12th 1890."
