Description Original B&W print. Group portrait of women and men in Colonial style costumes, standing on the side lawn of the Billiou-Stillwell-Perine House in Dongan Hills, Staten Island. They are standing in front of a horse-drawn vehicle and a man on horseback wearing a tricorn hat. Trees with bare branches are behind them, and a portion of the Billiou-Stillwell-Perine House can be seen on the left. Handwritten inscription at lower right: "Helene Photo Shoppe / St. George". Reverse has inscription in ink (possibly Loring McMillen's handwriting): "Bi-Centennial Group at the Perine House 1932 / Left to Right 1 Miss Katherine Seaman / [numbers 2 through 11 are left blank] 12 Mrs. T. Livingstone Kennedy / 13 Mrs. Newton D. Chapman". The photograph is also accompanied by a sheet of paper with circled numbers corresponding to the individual people who appear in the photograph and a list indicating some of their names: Miss Katherine Seaman (at left), Mrs. E. D. Wisely (seventh from left), Mrs. C. M. Steinrock (tenth from left), Mrs. Theo. Fischer (eleventh from left), Mrs. T. Livingston Kennedy (fourteenth from left), Mrs. Chapman (standing at right), and "Paul Revere" (on horseback). Image is identical to PH01.011.0001, which has slightly different identifications.

Ownership and History This photograph is not dated on the front, but it appears identical to another original print (PH01.0481) that is dated February 22, 1932, which was the two-hundredth anniversary of George Washington's birth. The donor was the daughter of Mrs. T. Livingstone Kennedy.
