Description Original B&W print on cream cardboard mount. Diagonal view of two ferry boats in slips along a pier, with water in the foreground. The ferry at center has inscription "BROOKLYN - STATEN ISLAND" on its side; the other ferry appears to have the same inscription partially visible. Beyond the ferry at center, two tall structures stand at the entrances to the ferry slips; each has a sign with inscription: "STATEN ISLAND FERRY / SHORT ROUTE TO NEW JERSEY." Typed inscription on paper glued to the reverse of the mount: "TR - 181 / 69th STREET FERRY / Brooklyn Terminal / Looking northwest from / Shore Road / Left to right: Gotham / Hamilton / The Tides / By Herbert L. Van Cott / Nov. 23, 1964."
