Description B&W print made from original negative. Front view of the Edwards-Barton House on Richmond Road in Richmond, Staten Island. In front of the house are a wooden fence, a stone wall, and a lawn. Two men stand on the porch, looking toward the camera; the man at left has his hands in his pockets, and the man in the center is leaning against one of the porch columns. Another man and a woman are partially visible through the first floor windows at right.

Ownership and History This house is now part of Historic Richmond Town. The photographer, identified as "W. Barton," was likely Willis Barton (1844-1918) or his son Willis E. Barton (1881-1912). The Barton family purchased the house in 1892 and lived there until ca. 1912.
