Description Original B&W print. View of Richmond Avenue looking north from Arthur Kill Road, in Greenridge, Staten Island. View shows the bridge over the Fresh Kills. To the left of the bridge is a sign with inscription: "BRIDGE TO ELIZABETH / [arrow pointing right] / BRIDGE TO PERTH AMBOY [arrow pointing left]." At right is a sign mounted on a utility pole: "NO LOAD OVER / 8 TONS ALLOWED / ON THIS BRIDGE / SPEED LIMIT / 8 MILES PER HOUR." Construction appears to be in progress on the bridge; a group of men and vehicles can be seen in the middle distance, and cranes are visible in the distance. Handwritten inscription on the reverse: "Richmond Ave. looking north / from A.K. Rd. / Boro. Hall / 4/7/31 / Boro Hall collection."
