|Ownership and History||Jacob Hatfield (1817-1893) was a farmer in Northfield, Staten Island. He and his wife Catherine Elmira Lisk had one son and three daughters. His obituary noted that early in his career, he commanded a schooner and worked primarily for the John Jewett & Sons White Lead Works. At one time he held the office of Highway Commissioner of Northfield.|
