Description Original B&W postcard, mounted on a page in photograph album X17.0003; the album contains photographs of Midland Beach, Staten Island, and is associated with Henry Johnk. View of a small boxing ring set up on the boardwalk at Midland Beach. Inside the ring, a man in dark trousers and a white shirt leans toward two men of short stature, each of whom is wearing a white sleeveless shirt, white knee-length pants, and boxing gloves. Another man wearing a white sleeveless shirt and white shorts stands outside the ring. In the middle ground, a crowd of seated and standing people looks toward the ring. The octagonal building in the background is the bandstand at Midland Beach. Inscription at lower edge: "The Rossow Midgets. at. Midland Beach 1924."
