A group of men stand in the foreground; two men hold desk-model telephones that are attached to a roll of cable. The original negative sleeve has the photographer's handwritten inscription: "NY Telephone Co / Re Air Crash / 2 each 8x10."

Ownership and History Although the original negative sleeve is not dated, this appears to show the aftermath of the collision of two planes on December 16, 1960. One plane crashed on Staten Island and the other crashed in Brooklyn.
