|Title||[Staten Island delegates, 1908 Democratic National Convention]|
|Object Name||Print, Photographic|
|Collection||Staten Island Geographic Collection|
Original B&W print on tan cardboard mount. Group portrait of 19 men in four rows. The men all wear suits, and most have badges pinned to their coats. In the upper left corner is an oval inset with a bust portrait photo of a man. A printed list on the mount below the photo identifies the men; in the center of the list is a photo image of a badge with inscriptions "DENVER 1908 / RICHMOND COUNTY / NEW YORK", with a 5-pointed star (the symbol of the Richmond County Democratic Committee). The names appear to correspond to the order in which the men are posed (left to right, top row to bottom row, including the oval inset photo): (top row) S.S. McGrath; T. Kieran; W.J. Cole; D.J. Roach; P.M. Abrahams; (second row from top) T. Kenny; W. Wheeler; A.C. Fach; W.J. Rague; J.E. Bowe; (third row from top) I. Almstaedt; R.A. Helm; C.J.M. McCormack; J.H. Clark; A.C. Nellis; G.C. Dempsey; (front row) J.J. McHenry; F. Ferger; R. Dunn; L.W. Widdecome.
