Description Original B&W print, now faded to a greenish-sepia color. View looking south on Richmond Hill Road. A man in a coat and hat is walking up the hill toward the viewer on an unpaved roadway. Tall trees and bare branches can be seen on either side of the road. A three-rail fence is behind the man near a curve in the road. A tall church steeple is faintly visible in the distance near the center of the photograph.

Ownership and History This picture shows a scene on Richmond Hill just above the town of Richmond, near the present-day site of LaTourette Park and just north of Historic Richmond Town. (Further study is needed to confirm whether the steeple is that of St. Andrew's or St. Patrick's Church.)
