Ownership and History The Greenridge Auction Market was located on Richmond Avenue in New Springville, Staten Island, on the site of the former Staten Island Airport. The area became the Korvette's (later Pergament) shopping center. The Auction Market, the airport, and the Staten Island Drive-In movie theater were adjacent to each other in the section of Richmond Avenue between Richmond Hill Road and the Fresh Kills Bridge.
