There are several small buildings in front of the coaster; sign on the front of one building: "VORVI'S / OYSTER HOUSE." The beach is in the foreground; a few boys are seated in the sand, and they wave to the camera. Handwritten inscription along the bottom edge of the photo: "1915."

Ownership and History This is one of a group of photographs donated to the Historical Society in 1952 by Edwin H. Skinner, who for many years was manager of the Staten Island Beach Land Improvement Company in South Beach.
