Description Original B&W film negative. Front view of Al Deppe's Clam & Oyster Bar; a small part of the main Al Deppe's Restaurant is seen at left. Sign on the building: "STEAMED Soft CLAMS / HOT CLAM BROTH / FRIED CLAMS / CLAM & OYSTER BAR / AL DEPPE'S SEA FOOD / SHRIMP COCKTAIL / FRIED SHRIMP / BROILED LOBSTER TAIL." Al Deppe's was located at 851 Arthur Kill Road in Greenridge, Staten Island. The original negative sleeve has the photographer's handwritten inscription: "Al Deppe 2-4-55."
