Description Original B&W print on gray cardboard mount. Interior view of an office with two men. One man stands next to a large safe which is open to show the ledgers and bundles of documents inside. The other man is seated at a double desk. Both men look toward the camera. A stove is partially visible behind the man who is standing. In the background is a partition wall with a door; the door has the inscription "NO / ADMITTANCE" (which appears in reverse). On the wall in the center is a calendar with printed inscription "STAPLETON / NATIONAL BANK." Handwritten inscription in pen on reverse of mount: "Taken May 3, 1915." Printed inscription on reverse of mount: "BOLTER BRO'S / Photographer's / 9313 - 3rd AVENUE, / Fort Hamilton, - Brooklyn, N.Y. / ..." Typed inscription on an oblong piece of paper glued to the back of the mount: "11-1-66 / EDGEWATER SAVINGS & LOAN ASSOCIATION / 10-12 Broad Street, Stapleton, S.I. N.Y. - NOW - / SERIAL FEDERAL SAVINGS & LOAN ASSOCIATION / # 45 Beach St., Stapleton - # 154 New Dorp Lane / Standing: Mr. Harson / Seated : Mr. Didier."
