Two men stand in the doorway, looking toward the photographer. The original negative sleeve has the photographer's handwritten inscription: "John Mauro / 12."

Acquisition Gift of Herbert A. Flamm
Ownership and History In 1888, Charles and Clarence Gregg bought their father's painting and decorating business and opened a store on Richmond Avenue. Over the years the brothers and succeeding generations of family members relocated and expanded the store, selling hardware, tools, housewares, and garden supplies in addition to paints.
