Businesses seen include Sedutto's Happiness House, Taft Cleaners, Food Farm, Stapleton Drug Co., Kinney Shoes, and F.W. Woolworth. The original negative sleeve has the photographer's handwritten inscription: "Herb / 1 each 8x10."
