Description Original glass plate negative. Interior view of St. John's Episcopal Church in Clifton, Staten Island. There is a large stained glass window above the entryway and Gothic arches above the pews. A faint reflection of the window can be seen, upside-down, over the right portion of the doorway and some of the pews. The original negative sleeve has the photographer's handwritten inscription: "87 / Cramer plate / Interior of St John's church from chancel looking at door / Fine day sun shinning [sic] in at window / 12.30 P.M. / 1 3/4 minutes Stop 3 / D. lense / Tuesday Oct 12th / 86."
