Description Original B&W print. Front view of a horse-drawn fire engine (steam pumper) with a man in uniform in the driver's seat and two horses harnessed in front. The fire engine is on a street with utility poles along both sides, houses at right and in the background at left, and a rocky hillside at far left. Three men or boys are walking toward the camera on the left side of the street. Handwritten inscription in the bottom border: "VAN DUZER ST. TOMPKINSVILLE." Found in a paper sleeve with printed inscription "HASTINGS & MILLER, / PHOTOGRAPHIC MATERIALS, / 113 NASSAU ST., N.Y." and handwritten inscriptions: "Engine Co. / Niagara 5" and "ENGINE CO. N. 5".
