Description Original glass plate negative. Two young bootblacks, holding shoeshine boxes, stand on a sidewalk in Manhattan. Two original negative sleeves each have the photographer's handwritten inscription: "2 Bootblacks / City Hall Park / Copyright" and "No / 899 / Cramer / Crown / Bootblacks 2 - City Hall / Park / Inst fast / W.L. 12 ft 12.50 P.M / Monday April 13th / 1896 / Fair sun out hot / NY / Set."
