Description Original B&W print on beige cardboard mount. Group portrait of 35 boys and girls, one woman, and one man standing in five rows on steps outside a brick school building in Tottenville, Staten Island. Two of the girls in the middle of the front row hold a slate with inscription: "Tottenville, N.Y. / 1893 / Room No. 2." Handwritten inscription on the reverse of the mount: "Tottenville / 1893 / Room 2A."
