Description Original glass plate negative. A group of seven girls sit and stand on a lawn; the location is probably Clear Comfort, the Austen family home in Rosebank, Staten Island. There are bare trees in the background. The girls wear dresses, hats, and coats. To the left of the group is Alice Austen's pug Punch. The original negative sleeve has the photographer's handwritten inscription: "Sunday School Class / Punch." A related photograph showing the same group of girls in the same clothing is dated November 29, 1885.
