Description Original B&W print. View of a row of milk delivery trucks backed up to a two-story brick building, as seen from an elevated vantage point. The side of each truck has an illustration of a milk bottle, with inscription "Janssen's / Milk." Inscription on the side of two of the trucks: "JANSSEN DAIRY CORP'N. / 754 MANOR RD. / W.N.B.S.I." The license plate on the front of one of the trucks has inscription "NY 37." Stamped inscription on the reverse of the photo: "WEITZMAN'S PHOTO SHOP, INC. / COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY / 59 & 61 CANAL STREET, STAPLETON, S.I., N.Y. / PHONE SAINT GEORGE 7-[illegible]."

Ownership and History Janssen Dairy was a New Jersey corporation. In 1937, they opened a distribution station at 754 Manor Road in Castleton Corners, Staten Island. The building had previously housed the Monroe Eckstein brewery. By 1962, Janssen had become a division of Foremost Dairies, Inc.
