Men are seated on horse-drawn sulkies which are racing around the oval track; at left is a grandstand filled with spectators, and more spectators watch from behind a fence next to the grandstand. A wooden fence runs around the inside of the track. Handwritten inscription on reverse: "Richmond County Fair Grounds / Seehusen."
