Description Original B&W print on cardboard mount. Fourteen children in costumes stand in a line, all facing the camera; several wear masks; costumes include a soldier with a drum and a frontiersman; two wear Native American clothing with feather headdresses. In the background are houses, trees, and a fence. The mount has the photographer's handwritten inscription the reverse: "Taken on Townsend Avenue / Thanksgiving Nov 26th 1885."
