Description Original B&W print. View of Princes Bay, Staten Island as seen from an elevated vantage point. Fields, roads, and several buildings are visible, with trees in the background. At left, a large white building with a porch is partly visible, with a long, open shed beside it at right. In the middle ground, three people are grouped around a boat sitting on the ground; a row of similar boats appear to lie on the ground beside it. Lemon Creek runs behind the building, beneath a railed bridge at center, toward the right; a group of boats are in the water at right, with wooden buildings beyond them. Handwritten inscription on reverse: "S. R. Barton;" additional inscription in different handwriting: "Princes Bay Inn."
