Description Original B&W film negative. View of an unpaved street, with a house under construction at right. The negative has the photographer's handwritten inscription at the bottom: "GURLEY AVE., GREAT KILLS - STREET CUT THROUGH - EXCAVATION DONE - FOUNDATIONS UP / HOUSES STARTED. 6-10-48 SPILLER CONSTRUCTION CO." The original negative sleeve has the photographer's handwritten inscription: "Spiller Const. 6/10/48 / 2 ea 8x10."
