|Ownership and History||Israel and Charlotte (Manee) Bedell, married in 1852, lived with their six children in a house on Amboy Road in Pleasant Plains, Staten Island. Israel worked as an oysterman. Their daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth M. Barton, donated this photograph to the Staten Island Historical Society in 1935.|
