Perine Family Papers - Bill of sale for a male slave named France

This document is a bill of sale dated March 28, 1801 for "One Certain Negro Boy, named France," who was purchased by Edward Perine, "yeoman," from Nicholas Lazere, "Doctor," for $175 "Current money of the State of New York." The document states that France was born May 6, 1784. The signatures of Joseph Perine, Henry Perine, and Nicholas Lazere appear on the document.
