|Title||Staten Island Home Buyers Guide|
Promotional booklet encouraging potential home buyers to purchase housing on Staten Island.
The booklet has a front cover with a green printed background and a black and white illustration of a smiling young couple superimposed on a white silhouette of Staten Island inset with illustrations of what appear to be a house, shopping center, public building, and church. The booklet is 16 pages long (not including the covers) and is printed in black, green, and pink on white paper. The bottom of page 16 indicates that it was "Produced by EXECUTIVE ADVERTISING AGENCY." It is bound by two metal staples.
The contents include editorial pages with the repeated slogan, "STATEN ISLAND Suburban Living Within The City" and with subheadings, "Welcome to Better Living!," "WHY YOU SHOULD BUY NOW...AND ON STATEN ISLAND," and "MODERN SHOPPING AREAS AND TRANSPORTATION." Interspersed are advertisements for builders, developers, contractors, and housing developments. Pages 14-16 list builder members and associate members of the Staten Island Home Builders Association.
