Advertising brochure for Little Farms, a real estate development in the Princes Bay area of Staten Island. Printed in red and blue-black ink on off-white paper.
Viewed unfolded, one side of the page is a poster in a tall and narrow vertical format. At the top is an illustration of a rooster on a fence with a sunrise in the background. Below is the title and text describing the development and its amenities, and at the bottom are addresses for Wood, Harmon & Co. The left and right edges are decorated with small illustrations showing vignettes of country life.
On the other side of the page is a bird's eye view of Staten Island showing the location and streets of Little Farms and noting transportation features (including the route of a proposed subway to Brooklyn which was never completed). An inset image illustrates a bungalow with prices and terms offered, and inset text lists the plantings available. Handwritten notations include the name "S. M. Scherck" and the date March 1909.

As printed on this brochure, Wood, Harmon & Co. had its main office at 261 Broadway, NY, and also had a Brooklyn office at 1376 Broadway and a Harlem office at 155 West 125th Street.
An earlier item produced by Wood, Harmon & Co. (1906) documents offices at 14th Street and Fourth Avenue and at 257 Broadway, and indicates that the company was active in various U.S. cities beginning in the 1880s.
